For as long as I can remember, there have been 4 constants in my life…my love of food…my big mouth…my inquisitive mind…and my nomadic existence. As a first wave Vietnamese boat person, my migration journey didn’t end the moment I landed in Canada. Whether I was running away from my traumatic youth or running towards my adult passions, I was always ranting with my mouth full.
And somehow in this weird cosmic world, I met a love so great that I moved cross country and found myself retired at 44. A downtown Toronto workaholic transplanted to what feels like a life on Mars…a suburban woman of leisure living in the land of boobs and botox in West Vancouver.
Join me in this latest pitstop of my life as I continue to live bravely and unfiltered with a ravenous appetite for food, knowledge and social change. I hope you enjoy my rants about the the world through my lived experiences while finding moments of joy through food and random musings.
